So Honest!

While driving home following a friend's event celebration, we realized that in our haste to make it there on time, we dressed in clothing that had been shoved to the back of the closet for the summer... 

Joel was the first to mention it... "Hey, do I (sniff, sniff) - do I smell like... closet, or something?" 

"I know!" I exclaimed, happy that it wasn't only me thinking this... "I thought I smelled like closet! Do I???" Joel was quick to reassure me that he hadn't noticed it on me, but that he thought he could sense it on himself. I felt the same way... In my mind, I was beginning to wonder whether we were smelling each other? Just then, a little peep out of the back seat remarked, "I think ya BOTH stink!" Ah, 4-year-old, blunt honesty. 

Suddenly, I didn't care if I smelled funny... I was laughing too hard to give a rip!

TIP: Rotate clothing stock, and/ or open the window in your closet when you are so lucky as to have one in there! ;)

WHIDFML: Bought 6 tops, 2 of which are sweater-dresses per my mood/ preference, a pair of kick-ass cowgirl-lookin' jeans, and a purse, all for less than $18 at the thrift store!!! Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!
